Prague's history is filled with magic, beauty and romance. Our tour will explore these sides of the city and learn how the legends were created. On this enchanted adventure you'll see and hear about Mozart's house and talk about his special relationship to Prague - this city is also known as 'Mozart's Mistress'. You'll also hear all about Casanova - one of the most interesting characters of the 18th century - and learn about how he did spent his last years writing his memoirs in Prague.
After dwelling on the romantic side of the city for a while, we'll move on to Tyn Court, where medieval trade caravans stopped for some rest – and play. We'll have a few stories to tell you about that.
During the Renaissance times, the esoteric teachings of alchemy and astrology were important and we will hear about the eccentric astronomer Tycho Brahe and his golden nose! You'll also learn the secrets of Prague's famous clock - the symbols and meaning behind the astronomical clock is not what you think!
You'll also learn all about Kabbalah, the third native spiritual tradition of Prague, which flourished in the Jewish Quarter with it's mystical traditions told in tales by our entertaining guides.
As we travel back even further, we'll find more mystery in Prague. For example, during pre-historic times, Castle Hill was used for worship by pagan tribes. While traces of this past existence are almost completely hidden to the untrained eye - your trained guide will help point them out.
After all the fun on foot, we end the tour on a high with a one-hour boat cruise. The boat will cruise along the beautiful Vltava River with both banks all illuminated for an impressive evening experience! On the cruise you'll have your choice of a complimentary beverage.
Our walking tours run with small groups and generally do not have more than 15 participants. This makes them interactive and personal and gives you plenty of chances to ask questions and get to know your guide. You can also hit them up for local tips and hints of where to go and what else to do.
